We are looking for an Electrical Engineer based in Barcelona to support the consultation, review and verification of electrical designs, technical working drawings and certification documentation for new electricity mains connections in English construction projects. These projects require DNO/IDNO approval of new HV + LV connections and EV charging infrastructure.
Typical projects include:
- New electrical connections for residential and commercial developments
- Substations and transformer installations
- Metering arrangements and utility interfaces
- Review of technical documentation and compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, / HNC + BS7671
- CEng / IEng registration through IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology)
- NERS electrical design competence
- Experience with electrical infrastructure and utility connections
- Knowledge of UK standards and processes is necessary
- Good English communication skills highly advantageous also.
This is a flexible, project-based collaboration, suitable for an experienced engineer seeking occasional consultancy assignments.
